For Instant Hipness, Just Add PeaceLoveMom Tees

Here I am at 36 weeks pregnant doing a little “nesting”. While nesting and patiently waiting Jayden’s arrival, I happen to be wearing the Lucky Mom Cantaloupe Soft Tee from PeaceLoveMom. I’m also holding up Jayden’s PeaceLoveBaby Tee! I couldn’t wait until the day that I got to see him wearing it. Little did I know he would show up 2 weeks later! Where has the time gone? It seems like just yesterday I was staring at my belly wondering when he was going to come out and poof here he is today 9 days old already! I’m already having those I don’t want him to grow up mommy moments. I was actually having them while pregnant too. Now that I’m not pregnant anymore, I kinda miss it.
Here is my little Doughboy sporting his Peace Love Baby Tee! The pacifier was inserted in order for him to cooperate. I kinda woke him up, but it was time for him to nurse anyway. He was a pretty good boy, dontcha think?
The Lucky Mom Cantaloupe Soft Tee is now one of my favorite tees to wear. As you can see I couldn’t wait until after delivery to wear it. I wore it while pregnant. You can probably guess that I packed it in my overnight bag to wear out of the hospital. If that wasn’t your guess, just know that I left the hospital a proud mom wearing the Lucky Mom Cantaloupe Soft Tee!
PeaceLoveMom defines Motherhood in hip attire. I love the fact that their line of clothing for mom and baby is designed with bright colors and the vintage look that I love. Just because you’re a mother doesn’t mean you have to replace your wardrobe full of frumpiness. Baby doesn’t have to suffer either. He/she can look just as haute as you.

Back In Action
Alrighty, I think Greg and I pretty much have our life back on schedule. We really didn’t get thrown off much. We were in the hospital from April 26th - April 28th and during that stay we hardly got any sleep due to the nurses checking in every 5 minutes. They had to constantly check my vitals, Jayden’s vitals, push on my stomach, poke me, remove things, give us forms, etc. The one thing that drove me nuts was the chart that they kept referring to, they recommended that I charted diaper changes and feedings. Hello I just gave birth, I am miserably tired, I don’t have time for homework. I know when I nursed and changed my baby, I don’t need to write it down.
The staff at the hospital was great. I know it’s standard procedure to bug the mother’s to death so even though I’m complaining, I understand the importance of what they do. Labor went really well. I’ll be writing about it, but for now you can read Greg’s point of view as it was happening. *tear*
I uploaded pictures of Jayden to flickr. One day next week we’re going to get some outdoor shots with him.
In honor of me becoming a mommy, Greg and I are throwing a Mother’s Day giveaway. Everyone is invited to enter!
Well I must go now. I have a few more posts to write, they will appear underneath this one. They include giveaways! I still have to get new themes up for Sophistishe & Mommy Daddy Blog. In due time. If you are new here and would like to stay current with Sophistishe, subscribe to my feed. Announcement: Pregnancy Reminder
This is a sticky post. All new posts will be underneath this post!
See my little Lilypie ticker up there? As of today I’m 37 weeks, 6 days pregnant. Right now I’m trying to get all last minute work finished at home and online. I’m semi grumpy because I’m trying not to fall behind, but nothing is more important than the baby right now. Early this morning 4ish am - 7ish am, I started having contractions and extreme lower back pains. I’m fine now but my back can start up again. So now it’s basically crunch time. My mother will be here today. She was supposed to come this Friday but changed her train ticket to make sure she doesn’t miss out. As of yesterday, I’m 2CM dilated, my cervix is really thin, and Jayden is extremely low. My midwife said that this weekend would be a good time to have him. We’ll see what happens!
I just wanted to post this for those who are concerned. If I’m not on the computer, I’ll be laying down with my Sidekick. I’ll probably be twittering and checking my email.

Eco Friendly Treatments For Your Pool or Spa
The weather’s warming up and I’m sure that some of you pool and spa owners are preparing to crank them up if you haven’t already. Let me ask you a question, what do you use to treat the water in your pool or spa? Could you be using chlorine generators or salt chlorinators?
Both chlorine generators and salt chlorinators have their disadvantages when used in a pool or spa. For starters, they both deal with the use of Chlorine. The use of chlorine in any pool or spa can be dangerous toxic and hazardous to handle, ingest or breathe, and dangerous to store as it is flammable.
Chlorine generators, commonly used in salt water pools require a high level of maintenance. Any mineral deposits that build up over time must be clean or else the generator won’t work properly. Even the smallest amount of mineral deposits stuck in the device will put it at risk of not working. Salt chlorinators deal with using harsh chemicals to get rid of bacteria, algae, and viruses in pools. For this reason swimmers immediately have to shower to remove any extra chemicals from the water from their skin. Chlorine and salt can dry skin, cause red eyes, dry hair, and slight color changes. Chlorine and salt can also cause an allergic reaction to some and can aggravate symptoms of asthma.
How would you like to treat your pool or spa with a 100% chemical free pool and spa treatment? Ecosmarte Pools specializes in creating natural pools and spas by using natural oxygen to rid pools and spas of toxic chemicals, health hazards, offensive chemical odors, damage to our environment, and damage to pool and spa equipment. An Ecosmarte system even costs less to operate than other treatment systems. If you’re looking for a safer and efficient way to treat your pool or spa, visit ecosmartepool.com to begin soaking in what will seem like pure bottled water. All purchases support environmental causes as Ecosmarte Pools donates 5% of profits to environmental charities.
