Ok, I Can See It
I think I’m content with my hair. I can see some of the color if I stand 1 inch away from the mirror and squint, lol. It seems that the dye just kind of acted as a rinse, although it’s permanent. I may try again next month, who knows. I do like my dark dark dark brown almost black hair, it’s just that I’m used to my hair being brown. My hair has been noticeably brown most of my life. I guess since I’ve had a relaxer most of my life, the chemicals turned my hair that color. When I was younger, I hated my brown hair, I wanted black hair. I guess because everyone else had dark hair. I don’t know what my problem was. Well now I almost have black hair. I kinda got my wish. Below is a picture of me with brown hair. I thought that was my natural hair color until a beautician told me that relaxers lighten your hair after a while. Looking back at pictures of me as a child, my hair was dark like how it is now. So my real natural hair color is dark dark dark brown almost black. I’ll look up the real term and number later, lol.

THIS IS NOT A CURRENT PICTURE. This is a FLASHBACK of my hair with a relaxer and NO dye. This is the hair color and length I was used to. My hair color appeared darker if it had a lot of moisturizing lotion in it. In this picture I had just washed it, so it was at it’s lightest. This was Sophomore year, I hadn’t dyed it until Senior year. Excuse the fake contacts. It was a trend back then.

I had no idea relaxers did that. I think your hair looked good back in the days.
