Our Nature Walk Montage

Those “spiders” that were stuck to Greg after hiking were ticks. They looked like jumping spiders but after giving it some thought and finding two on Caesar, it was obvious what they were. Greg must have brought more than 2 in the house because the 2 that were attached to him, he removed, and then I found 2 on Caesar while bathing him. I removed them and put alcohol on the area, so all is well. We will be watching out for any symptoms since some ticks do carry diseases. When we take Caesar to get some shots, we’ll also tell them about it. We’re also gonna get Caesar a tick collar and other products for when we actually do take him out hiking and some Deet and Permethrin for us. I made a montage of our hike and I’m in love with it. I didn’t want to upload it to youtube (people are so rude on there), but I wanted it to be available to my friends on facebook. I turned off comments and all of that so. This is a quick post. I got off work at 9pm “yesterday” and cooked dinner. It was delicious. I made my version of the KFC Famous Mashed Potato Bowl and a nummy salad. I’ll post pictures later today. I’m pooped. Nite/Mornin’.

Awww, I love the video. It reminds me of something you’d see on the discovery or nature channel. And the music reminds me of an interior design show, or “reading rainbow” lol. Glad you had so much fun.

Oh man, ticks suck. We get them pretty often up here in the Northeast, but at least I don’t live in Connecticut, Tick Capital USA haha.

Last year this guy (who had a dog) sold us his couch for 10 dollars and then a day later I found a tick right behind my ear on my scalp, and then again somehwere else on my head a day after that. There were a couple crawling around the couch it was horrible! I was really nervous because you hear those horror stories about Lime disease - I mean, people actually die from that. Make sure you keep an eye out for any rings around the bite area :/

Gah, I am severely grossed out by and afraid of ticks, blech. Now I have an urge for KFC.

Ashley, That’s so crazy! I guess you get what you pay for, lol. What’d you guys do with that couch?
