Disposable Camcorder Giveaway!

Over at TheDomesticDiva.Org, you can win a One-Time Use Video Camcorder! If I won? Hmm…Greg really wants a video recorder, so I’d let him play with it. He’s like the paparazzi and desperately wants to catch something exciting on video. I kinda want to save it for the cruise that we will be going on in November.

Almost Done!

I am pleased with how Greg and I are working together to get our belongings moved into storage. I’m in charge of packing up everything and he takes the loads to storage. All we have left is the living room and kitchen stuff, which we can knock out today. I can also paint the living room walls back to white. I’ve scrubbed both bathrooms and steam cleaned 3 of the bedroom’s carpets upstairs. I have one more bedroom to go, as well as the hall area, dining and living room. I’ve actually had fun cleaning, I just love the smell of freshness. Now that I have a carpet steamer, I made a promise to myself to clean the carpet every 3 months or so at the new place. I’m probably going to write a review for my Bissell QUICKsteamer® Lightweight Deep Cleaner, I love it and I’ll leave the rest for the review.

I need to give the poochie a bath and get back to packing. I want to have everything perfect before the 31st. I don’t want to get hit with extra fees because we left the premises 1 minute late!

Quick Notes:
1. I decided to use Aquafresh Triple Protection toothpaste. I’ve always been fond of the color and for $3 and some change I can get 2 huge 8.2 oz tubes.
2. Paypal irks me. They still haven’t taken care of their debit card issues. Guess who’s waiting on their 5th debit card that probably won’t activate?! Guess who talked to a supervisor that got fed the same I’m really sorry all we can do is send you another card ma’am. garbage?

Freeze It

I’ve had the chance to try Freeze It, a new muscle rub/pain reliever. Luckily, I hit my leg on one of our tables a few days ago (Lucky that I had some Freeze It to try!). I had to move the table closer to the stairs so that Greg and one of his coworkers could get the upright freezer through the front door. Later forgetting that I moved the table, I hit a meaty part of my leg on the corner of it coming down the stairs sick . Freeze It gives off a pleasant vapor and the smell doesn’t even last long, it fades within minutes. It goes on light, like a gel. No grease, no stains. I’d recommend Freeze It to anyone that doesn’t want to walk around smelling like an old person (Bengay), lol.

My mother and aunt have to use muscle rubs from time to time. My aunt especially has to rub down. She has some serious issues with her back. She’s undergone a series of epidurals to ease the pain. Yes, it’s that serious. Just recently she had to be put on Methadone. Of course my mother got the third degree when trying to fill the prescription for her. Methadone’s no joke.

While my aunt may not be able to use a topical pain reliever at the moment, my mother can. My mother’s aches aren’t nearly as serious as my aunt’s, so I’ll have her try out Freeze It too. She goes to work out at Bally’s every once and a while so I know she’ll have something that aches. When I told her about Freeze It, she said Shoot, send it on over!, lol. I’ve tried Freeze It, now it’s her turn!

Moving & Some Stuff

I realized that the weekend is the worst time of the week to blog, so I want to plug my review on Lucy’s Dog House. I really didn’t want to post over it but it was time for an update. Oh and if you’d like to keep up with my posts, subscribe to my rss feeds, please angel .

Sunday morning around 4am (early I know), Greg washed our clothes in the “laundry facility” on site. When he went back to grab the clothes out of the dryer, there was trash all in our laundry. He had to dig our clothes out of the trash and when he brought the clothes inside we had to pick piles of dryer lent from our whites. Here’s all the extra crap we had to get out of the whites. Later, he took them to the laundromat across the street. I’ve had it, and I’m not even upset because we are moving this week. Today we will be getting a storage unit, maybe some paint, and a carpet steamer. I can’t wait for the H2O mop, the clock is ticking and I need to clean all of the carpets because it’s just the right thing to do and I don’t want the security deposit to be munched up because of issues with the carpet. They are probably gonna clean it anyway but you know how landlords are when it comes to racking up on extra fees. I may give my mother the cleaner that I buy today and get the H2O Mop later. I think it will be smart for us to get to packing, I just don’t know what to pack first! What are we not using?

I’ve created a wishlist, I never mentioned it. Check it out if you’re curious -) .

This is totally random but I’d like to know what toothpaste you use and why? I need to stop being cheap and spend a few dollars more on toothpaste. I’m looking for something that prevents EVERYTHING and whitens. I have a huge phobia of having issues with my teeth especially now that I don’t have dental coverage. Any ideas on what I should use (toothpaste)?
