Back Home

I’ve been absent the past couple of days due to the fact that my IP’s kept getting blocked by my host’s server. My new anti spam plugin was triggering this and I THINK I have found a fix. Every time I would log into wordpress from any location, the IP would be blocked minutes later, so that’s why I’ve been MIA, and also due to the holiday of course. I haven’t had much time to sit at the computer or think for that matter.

Greg’s mother found out about Jayden on the 23rd through Greg’s cousin who saw our ultrasound pictures on facebook. Greg forgot that he had her saved as a friend. See what these social networks can get you in to icon_lol Back Home ? ANYWAY Greg’s mother did NOT have a midlife crisis. She’s excited, so’s Greg’s grandmother, little sister (16), his little brother (18) could care less (maybe it’s a guy thing), we both still aren’t the best of friends (his brother and I). His mother and my mother talked on the phone for a loooong time, they are working on the baby shower. Greg got to keep his Christmas and birthday gifts, lol! In just a few days my stomach turned into a well done turkey and of course I have until May to continue to grow! So far I gained 8lbs, got some extra hips, and went up a bra size. I was already on my way to another bra size pre-pregnancy so I won’t be surprised if I go up again by May. I’m loving the girls, however I’m waiting on some booty, lol. Gotta keep things in proportion…

I’ll post a Christmas update a little later, we just got in and we have to tidy up. If the house isn’t clean, I lack motivation to do anything else, so we must get started!

So it wasn’t just me!! This has been happening to me for over a week. I thought you blocked me, so I just gave up. But then your posts appeared in my reader again…

I’m glad Greg’s mom took the news well. Jayden is going to be a lucky little boy to have so much love in his life. I’m sure you’ll benefit from having the support of both Grams as well. Lately whenever I listen to the song I Knew I Loved You by Savage Garden it makes me think of you and Jayden.

Goodness. I have been MIA from Sophistishe.org!

That’s great news that you two are expecting. I am so happy for the both of you. I’ll definitely be following you.

    Congrats!

You’ve been pregnant since August, and had no idea!? That’s not something we hear too often. But, I’m glad everything seems to be going okay. And, I love the name you guys picked out for the little bundle of joy. Jayden is the perfect choice.

That’s funny. Awesome that both future grams are excited! When did you plan to tell Greg’s mom?

That reminds me of my boyfriend’s (Shane) mom, who consistently asks us, “Are you making me a Shane Jr?”

Hey Sheena, I hope you remember me since I left the blog/site scene. I was thinking about you and started looking through all my notepads for your site link and luckily I found it. I was wondering what you’ve been up to and if you still had your site and I read your great news. Congratulations girl, I knew I would read about you and Greg becoming parents one day. Jaden is a nice name too. Chanel had a baby girl in May 07 named Jala.
Our family didn’t freak out too much like we thought, you know cause of her age. But it’s good Gregs mother took the news well and is happy for you both. I will keep checking back and continue reading your entries. I’m off to look at the ultrasound pics now and I want to see your belly lol.
I wish I had a website so we could stay in touch, but I do still have my livejournal page (http://sheisbrite.livejournal.com/) even though I haven’t updated it in along time.
