Happy New Year! 2008
Check out my Hounie’s (Greg) New Years post on Mommy Daddy Blog! *tear*
Happy New Year! Greg and I are spending our New Years at home. Normally we’d watch the fireworks on Lakeshore Drive in Chicago but we had to head home early this year. Doesn’t make me any difference I’m just looking forward to what 2008 has to offer! Besides we are FINALLY going to be parents, I’m keeping my pregnant behind in the house!
What are some of your New Years Resolutions? Here are some of mine.
1. Be the best mommy that I can be.
2. Master shopping with coupons.
3. Bring in an extra income in addition to what we already have.
4. Save money!
5. Make time for hobbies, depending on if I am successful with #3 & #4.
6. Drive…agh.

Have a fabulous New Year.
A few of my resolutions sound very similar to yours — snagged from my blog.
1) Come out of my shell and raise my self confidence.
2) Improve my “spending habitsâ€. Become better at investing, and saving my money. I need money for more important things.
3) Become more “independentâ€. Start looking for my own crib, and stop trying to get so much “guidance†from others. It’s time for me to “grow upâ€, and start being more serious.
4) Cutting down on the internet. Start limiting myself. Stop being such a hermit.
5) Improve my diet. Less sugar, soda, sweets, etc. I don’t need to lose weight, but there is always room for improvement, and a better outlook of health for the future. Then again, I shouldn’t quit cold turkey, or “torture†myself.
6) Improve my sleeping schedule.
Good luck maintaining yours — although, I don’t think you need luck. You’ll do fine!
Ps. Hopefully, my comment doesn’t get eaten this time!!
Happy ‘08! 2007 was a big year for you and I hope that 2008 will bring positive things for you, Greg, and your bundle of joy.
You’re going to be such a great mother. You’re a very strong and determined person, so I’m sure you’ll accomplish all of your goals. My only resolution is to do better this year than I did last year. That covers everything. BTW, I love Greg’s entry. You got lucky with him. It’s so great to see a man that’s about his family.
Happy New Year. It’s 20008!!!!!
I must comment you on the lovely website as well. It is my first time here but I will be adding it to my favorites as it appears to have many interesting posts.
What do you mean “drive”?
Happy new year! I’m going to drop some weight - I’ve gained about 20 pounds in the last few months.
Happy 2008! I’ve decided to keep it simple this year in terms of ny resolutions: be happy, healthy and succesful.
