I’m 23 Weeks Preggie Today!

23 WeeksToday I’m 23 weeks preggie. View my 23rd Week post. It was Greg’s idea that I do a post each week charting my progress. What a clever Hounie =). Yesterday I went a little wild on eBay. Well, I wouldn’t say wild because everything that I’ve won and still bidding on are inexpensive items that I MUST have to remain a Hot Mama, headbands, hats, and earrings. I lost a few of my crocheted hats (probably at my mother’s), and one was destroyed in the washer. I also had to toss some earrings, you know how some costume jewelry can be. If I don’t remain a Hot Mama, my mother will get on me. She insists that I look cute during this pregnancy. She told me that when you’re pregnant you have to look your best, lol. She wants me to stop cutting my long nails, but they are always in my way. Either they are getting stuck in the keyboard or in the way when I’m trying to cook or clean, so I cut them down. She also tries to make me wear rings on my fingers so that I look more dainty. I’m more of a one ring at a time type of person while she’s like a 4+ rings at a time person, she loves her rings.

In the next week or so, I’ll start reviewing some of my favorite maternity finds. I may as well give up on finding a maternity jean because they all run too big. The only brand that I know of that has my size is Seven For All Mankind and Sheena does not have Seven For All Mankind money, new or used! I ordered a SwellyBelly Band to fit over the jeans that still comfortably fit but won’t close. I’m still worshiping my yoga pants, I got quite a few pairs for Christmas.

I’m off to see what I can upload to flickr.

HEY!! Congrats on your pregnancy too! How exciting!!! You’re expecting sooner than I am. Baby Bean isn’t due until mid July!! You know what? I got my pants in from Old Navy online today, and they actually fit. Have you tried their online store? I think they have more XS than in the actual physical store.

Hey! Thanks for dropping by my blog–dude you’re skinny! P Are you super athletic?

I think your mom speaks truth on looking good–and feeling good–during pregnancy. VERY important! Everything should run smoother–labor, delivery, and postpartum–if you keep healthy through those slow preggo months.
Sometimes I really put an effort into exercising and watching my diet, and other days I don’t care. P That’s life, right?

Jeans are hard for me to find too…Good luck with that!

I’ll add you to my oraeley.com blogroll, if that’s okay )

AWW! *rubs your belly* I love the pictures. LOL @ Hot Mama. Pssh, I’m probably gonna be a flat-out BUM whenever I get pregnant. I’ll be too excited about the baby to look cute! lmao. But you’re making me worried about finding jeans though…I have that probably already! (

Aw, you look so cute Sheena. All belly, it seems. I was the same way.

I agree with Helen. I wore Old Navy maternity clothes and they fit great. Most of the shirts I was able to wear post pregnancy as well. You can’t beat that.
