I Think I Remembered Everything!
I’m so tired. I don’t know if it’s pregnancy related or due to my sleep pattern. I stayed up until 4am this morning and woke up at 12pm, then went back to sleep at 4pm and woke up at 7pm. My eyes are wide open but my body isn’t too thrilled.
Simba’s acting very clingy lately (as if he wasn’t already). He’s eating good, going to the litter fine, and has plenty of energy (sometimes too much). I think he knows he’s going back to my mother’s in March. We have to give him and Caesar back since we aren’t going to be able to find a decent place up north that allows pets or a place that allows them, but doesn’t charge to have them there. As much as we love them, we can’t do $300 non refundable deposits plus pet rent for each of them. Now that Caesar’s trained, my mother can handle him. I hope. The thing that I’m concerned about is my aunt and her dropping of everything. She drops pills, sometimes her insulin needles, and other things on the floor that I don’t want him chewing on. My mother is going to have to keep him out of her room.
Old Navy’s having a 75% Clearance! Look what I got! Me and Old Navy’s maternity jeans don’t get along. They are entirely too wide in the hips, but Helen just ordered some online and they fit so we’ll see. I don’t understand why they’d make the jeans smaller online, but they BETTER fit! I saved an additional 3% because I have the iBakeSale browser plugin installed. The plugin alerts you of how much cash back you’ll receive when you land on a store that they are affiliated with. So if you have the toolbar installed and you go to one of your favorite stores, the plugin will alert you of how much you’ll receive if you make a purchase. You can choose to keep your rewards or donate them to your favorite organization.
My mother sent me some maternity shirts. They all fit, but they are kinda wide at the bottom. I told my mother stop shopping in the maternity section for my maternity clothes, lol, I don’t think I’m going to be able to fill out all the extra space that they provide. She’s positive that I will be able to. We’ll see when I hit month 6. Speaking of which, I don’t get this going by weeks and months thing. I know going by weeks is easier since a typical pregnancy is 40 weeks long. If I’m due May 8th, do I mark months on the 8th of each month or do I go by weeks?

People who have a little more cushion for the pushin’ don’t like to be called on it, it works the same way with those who are smaller. We all have mirrors, don’cha think?

“If I’m due May 8th, do I mark months on the 8th of each month or do I go by weeks?”
I go by the weeks, cuz every month has different number of days so they don’t all match up. For me, every Saturday marks my next week into the pregnancy.
Thanks for getting the word out on Capessa Sheena! We’re really hoping to make this a revolutionary community of women where peer-to-peer support helps us all make life a little better.
On a personal note, sorry about the pet woes. I’m living them as we speak, and the guilt that comes with having to give them up is almost unbearable. I’m sure it will all work out.
Thanks again!
