Snow Day Part 2…

Yesterday the power went out at 8:52pm and didn’t come back on until 11:58pm. Greg and I spent that time cuddling up. Although our heat is gas, it relies on electricity to crank on, so we had no heat. Greg caught my cold, so his fever was enough to keep the both of us toasty. When the power came back on, we continued cuddling and went to bed. We didn’t get much sleep because we kept each other awake. When I’m not comfortable, I make whiny noises in my sleep, lol. My nose was stuffy and Greg’s temperature had me breaking out into sweats, so I kept making these funny noises. Every time that I did, Greg nudged me so that I would shut up, lol. Today the ice came off of the car so we were able to run to the grocery store for a few things including some cough syrup for Greg. He’s now laying down and I think I will do the same. I’m so tired. I tried doing some of the dishes and I put some chicken in the oven. I may just have to finish cooking the chicken later because my body isn’t having it -( . Looks like we’ll be having a late dinner…

If it isn’t obvious…the power was out due to the weather…

The only thing worse than being sick and pregnant is being sick, pregnant, AND cold. I hope things warm up soon and that you guys are both all better quickly.

I hope you two (or three) feel better and warm up. Our power was out here in Ohio for a few hours last week because of the weather. It wasn’t nearly as bad here as it was there, but I can feel your pain with the weather.

Sheena, saw this and it made me think of you…

Being asked solicitously about the state of her health was becoming bothersome
to the pregnant woman at the cocktail party. And yet another guest went over
and inquired, “Well, how are you feeling these days?”
“Not too well,” said the expectant mother. “You know, I’ve missed
seven or eight periods now and it’s beginning to worry me.”

Aw I hope you two feel better! I’ve been sick this week too. I still have a cough & a runny nose ( I wish I knew what snow was again. The last time it snowed, it was enough to last the whole lunch period at school…but the time school was over, you couldn’t even tell it snowed. I hate Georgia sometimes -_-
