I’m Sheena, twenty one years of age, living in Illinois. I’m originally from the south suburbs of Chicago, but I migrated to the south for school. Did I finish? Nope. Will I? Maybe. If you hound me about it, most likely you will get snarled at. I juggle quite a few hustles; graphic/web design, photography, writing, and a few others. I share my love with a zoo (Simba & Caesar who now reside with my mother.) and my fiance Greg, who is studying computer science. We’ve been together since Junior High. We’re expecting a baby boy May 8th 2008 and are writing about our adventure as parents over at Mommy Daddy Blog! I couldn’t be any happier!

Wearing my hair natural is a little “hobby” of mine. I’ve always wanted to wear my hair in puffs. After frying my hair with harsh dyes, I decided to chop my hair down to less than an inch and start my journey. I’ve been natural since December 23rd 2005. I will admit I’m not much of a product junky so I don’t have much advice to give. I’ve just stuck with what works best for me. I haven’t done much as far as styling because I don’t have the patience to be honest. This year I will TRY to expand my haircare collection and try some new styles and techniques. It’s about time, now that my hair is healthy and restored.
