My Conservation Baby Go Green!
Not too long ago My Conservation Baby, an Eco-friendly baby/toddler clothing store, released a tee for dogs! Now babies and poochies alike can sport cool gear that helps support the environment! The cute little doggie tee reads “Stop Global Warming”. On July 28th, the doggie tee’s were put into 50 celebrity gift bags and were given away at the Grammy Foundation event honoring Quincy Jones. How cool is that? It won’t be long before celebrity pooches are sporting these Stop Global Warming doggie tees from My Conservation Baby. Here are some pictures of my Celebrity pooch, Caesar, sporting one of the tees!
My Conservation Baby has also released a re-useable canvas shopping bag that reads “Paper, Plastic or Me?”. Over at When 2 Became 3, you can win one! All you have to do is join the mailing list over at My Conservation Baby, link to the contest as well as My Conservation Baby, post a picture of yourself doing something “green” or talk about what you do to live green. Last, sign the Mr. Linky with your name and blog. All bloggers and non bloggers are welcomed!

Call me a false flagger, these are my mother’s bulbs, but I will be using these in our new place definitely!
There’s a recent entry below this one *cough*.

Freeze It
I’ve had the chance to try Freeze It, a new muscle rub/pain reliever. Luckily, I hit my leg on one of our tables a few days ago (Lucky that I had some Freeze It to try!). I had to move the table closer to the stairs so that Greg and one of his coworkers could get the upright freezer through the front door. Later forgetting that I moved the table, I hit a meaty part of my leg on the corner of it coming down the stairs
. Freeze It gives off a pleasant vapor and the smell doesn’t even last long, it fades within minutes. It goes on light, like a gel. No grease, no stains. I’d recommend Freeze It to anyone that doesn’t want to walk around smelling like an old person (Bengay), lol.
My mother and aunt have to use muscle rubs from time to time. My aunt especially has to rub down. She has some serious issues with her back. She’s undergone a series of epidurals to ease the pain. Yes, it’s that serious. Just recently she had to be put on Methadone. Of course my mother got the third degree when trying to fill the prescription for her. Methadone’s no joke.
While my aunt may not be able to use a topical pain reliever at the moment, my mother can. My mother’s aches aren’t nearly as serious as my aunt’s, so I’ll have her try out Freeze It too. She goes to work out at Bally’s every once and a while so I know she’ll have something that aches. When I told her about Freeze It, she said Shoot, send it on over!, lol. I’ve tried Freeze It, now it’s her turn!

Caesar Loves Lucy’s Dog House!
We have the hardest time buying toys for Caesar. Most of his toys are the plush squeaky type toys. A lot of the times, Greg and I play the little 50 cent crane games to win toys for Caesar. He’s just going to chew them up anyway, why waste money on the ones on display? I’m tired of picking up polyester puffs from off of the floor, but I continue to let him have plush toys.
Lucy’s Dog House has come to the rescue! Caesar just love his Hurley and Orbee-Tuff® SPORT Golf Ball. He’s like a little maniac when playing with them. They are really good interactive toys. While trying to snap pictures of him playing with the toys, he’d fetch them and toss them up into the camera like Mommy is this good enough for the review?. He was really wild with the Hurley, see…

The Hurley is a stick with attitude. It can stand to be tossed, chewed, and abused. I’m not sure how long these things last, but I have a feeling Caesar’s going to have his Hurley for a few years. No matter how much he chews it, the bites never embed into the toy!
The Orbee-Tuff® SPORT Golf Ball is just like the Hurley, heavy duty. At first Caesar wouldn’t play with it because I rolled it, but once I started bouncing it on the floor, he started having a blast with it! When playing with this, Caesar reminds me of a cat because he kinda paws it and chases it as a cat would. Only difference is that he brings it back to me sometimes tossing it back. It’s so cute.
What makes Lucy’s Dog House special? Well, the owner of Lucy’s Dog House rescued a dog named Lucy who is very important to her. She donates a portion of her sales to sponsored rescues. She’s actively looking for rescues to partner with and help with a percentage of her sales. Know of any rescues? Let her know!
Visit Lucy’s Dog House and be sure to sign up for the mailing list!
Discount Codes: Use friend, which is good for 15% off any purchase and rescue which gives 10% to one of the sponsored rescues and 5% off towards your purchase.

All About Kangaroodle!
The contest has ended, the Mr. Linky has been removed. Congrats to the winner!
Edit: If you don’t have a blog you can still enter, but please spread the word about the contest and Kangaroodle! You still must sign the Mr. Linky with your name in the “Your name” box and your email address in the “Your URL” box.
Recently, I’ve had the pleasure of chatting with a very wonderful lady, Shelly Allen, the owner of Kangaroodle.
Here’s what she has to say about Kangaroodle!
“Kangaroodle is all about fun, functional & fabulous things for babies! We believe that just because something is functional doesn’t mean it can’t look great too. We cater to moms who want high-quality functional items that don’t sacrifice their sense of style. We pride ourselves on our fresh and unique product selection—from great baby gear to one-of-a-kind vintage baby items and even something special for mom. And we’ve become known for our exceptional customer service and super fast shipping.”

I couldn’t help but drool over the inventory in her store. Kangaroodle’s “signature” product is the shopping cart cover. The shopping cart cover provides a more comfortable and sanitary solution for a child sitting in a shopping cart. Can you imagine how many germs a child can be protected from with these stylish covers?

The Keep-It-Kleen self-closing pacifier, I thought that these things were so innovative. I’ve seen so many dropped pacifiers on the floor and stuck in between a couch in my life time, all exposed to germs. With the self-closing pacifier, if dropped the the soft contoured shield will protect the nipple. The shield only closes if the pacifier is out of the baby’s mouth and will not pinch when in use.

I am a huge fan of totes and purses especially if they are spacious and have pretty vintage patterns on them. For this reason I’m drooling over Kangroodle’s diaper bag selection. I carry loads of stuff in my purse. You can never be too prepared! I’d definitely carry one of these stylish diaper bags because they don’t scream diaper bag! While I’m on the subject of diaper bags, I must mention that no designer diaper bag is complete without a diaper & wipe pouch.
I think I’ve gotten carried away and I’m sure you all are ready to enter the contest! Before I get to that, I want you guys to bookmark Kangaroodle for the next time that you’re shopping for yourself or for a gift for someone that you love. Don’t forget to check out Kangaroodle’s current hot items, bib clips, pacifier clips, and lil’ topper sipper caps!
Now on to how you can win a $50 gift certificate from Kangaroodle!

Makeup & Pooch Wearin’
Yesterday was a fun day. I tried out some products from Loose Lips New York. I wore the pooch in the Peekaboo Pouch from Baby Dagny and took some pretty satisfying pictures. Here are my reviews.
Natural Pumpkin and Multi Fruit Complex Peel - This stuff smells good enough to eat. I just love the pumpkin scent. I rubbed this exfoliant on my face and left it on for 5 minutes. It tingles and may burn a teeny bit, it’s supposed to.
Honey & Almond Scrub - This smells yummy too. I used this on top on the pumpkin peel. This works with the peel to help exfoliate and remove dead skin cells. The two did their job because I had skin peeling off of my nose. When putting this on, I recommend holding your face above the sink because some of the almond pieces may fall off while you’re rubbing it on your face. My face felt really clean and refreshed after using the two.
Mineral Bronzer in Terra Cotta Glow - To get the best results and *UMPH* with this bronzer and the lipstick I applied a foundation. I used Dream Matte Mousse in Honey Beige by Maybelline. I may need to go a shade darker for the summer. But back to this wonderful Bronzer. It gave my cheeks a bronze sun kissed glow. I love it. A little and I mean a LITTLE of it goes a LONG way. I learned that when I put on too much! This can be used on your body as well.
Pure Lips Lipstick in Zodiac - Appears very subtle without foundation on. It really pops out when I wear foundation. I love the color it’s a very natural way to put attention on the lips. Not too light, not too dark or bright. I think this is a good products for pre-teens to use on special occasions.
If ordering from Loose Lips New York, use coupon code sheena20 for 20% off purchases over $10 until July 1st. Use coupon code eye20 for 20% off all mid size eye shadows good through June 10th. Playing in makeup has got me convinced that I’m doing my makeup at my wedding/celebration. Why spend money on an artist? I don’t use loads of stuff so it’ll be easy for me anyway.
I received my peekaboo pouch from Baby Dagny last Friday. It was wrapped carefully in purple tissue paper. This pouch was meant for my *baby stash*, but I couldn’t help but try it out on Caesar. He loved it so much, I may have to buy another one to put away. I want the one in swiss chocolate, but when it goes on sale. The one that I have now was an exclusive for Baby Dagny and is currently sold out. I love the colors and how easy it is to put on. Caesar treats the pouch how he treats his clothes, with great excitement. Every time I pick it up, he goes nuts. This is proof that poochies love baby pouches too. Here are all of the pictures from yesterday, me wearing the makeup and the pooch. After taking pictures outside Greg suggested that we go out for a drive, so there are a few pictures from the drive too. The weather is nice today so I think we’re going to take Caesar out and do something. Toodles! OH, the good news. I got the job. It involves web design and animals. There’s lots of perks to the job and that’s all I’m going to say. OK bye!

If you would like to give a gift to baby Jayden, we are registered at Target. All gifts are greatly appreciated!
