I Think I Remembered Everything!
I’m so tired. I don’t know if it’s pregnancy related or due to my sleep pattern. I stayed up until 4am this morning and woke up at 12pm, then went back to sleep at 4pm and woke up at 7pm. My eyes are wide open but my body isn’t too thrilled.
Simba’s acting very clingy lately (as if he wasn’t already). He’s eating good, going to the litter fine, and has plenty of energy (sometimes too much). I think he knows he’s going back to my mother’s in March. We have to give him and Caesar back since we aren’t going to be able to find a decent place up north that allows pets or a place that allows them, but doesn’t charge to have them there. As much as we love them, we can’t do $300 non refundable deposits plus pet rent for each of them. Now that Caesar’s trained, my mother can handle him. I hope. The thing that I’m concerned about is my aunt and her dropping of everything. She drops pills, sometimes her insulin needles, and other things on the floor that I don’t want him chewing on. My mother is going to have to keep him out of her room.
Old Navy’s having a 75% Clearance! Look what I got! Me and Old Navy’s maternity jeans don’t get along. They are entirely too wide in the hips, but Helen just ordered some online and they fit so we’ll see. I don’t understand why they’d make the jeans smaller online, but they BETTER fit! I saved an additional 3% because I have the iBakeSale browser plugin installed. The plugin alerts you of how much cash back you’ll receive when you land on a store that they are affiliated with. So if you have the toolbar installed and you go to one of your favorite stores, the plugin will alert you of how much you’ll receive if you make a purchase. You can choose to keep your rewards or donate them to your favorite organization.
My mother sent me some maternity shirts. They all fit, but they are kinda wide at the bottom. I told my mother stop shopping in the maternity section for my maternity clothes, lol, I don’t think I’m going to be able to fill out all the extra space that they provide. She’s positive that I will be able to. We’ll see when I hit month 6. Speaking of which, I don’t get this going by weeks and months thing. I know going by weeks is easier since a typical pregnancy is 40 weeks long. If I’m due May 8th, do I mark months on the 8th of each month or do I go by weeks?
Christine’s having a giveaway in honor of Capessa’s online debut. All you have to do is explore Capessa, watch the Mommy Meltdown video, and let Christine know your thoughts (good or bad) about the online community and video. Oh the prize is… an American Express card loaded with $100!

People who have a little more cushion for the pushin’ don’t like to be called on it, it works the same way with those who are smaller. We all have mirrors, don’cha think?
I think I remembered everything!

I’m 23 Weeks Preggie Today!
Today I’m 23 weeks preggie. View my 23rd Week post. It was Greg’s idea that I do a post each week charting my progress. What a clever Hounie =). Yesterday I went a little wild on eBay. Well, I wouldn’t say wild because everything that I’ve won and still bidding on are inexpensive items that I MUST have to remain a Hot Mama, headbands, hats, and earrings. I lost a few of my crocheted hats (probably at my mother’s), and one was destroyed in the washer. I also had to toss some earrings, you know how some costume jewelry can be. If I don’t remain a Hot Mama, my mother will get on me. She insists that I look cute during this pregnancy. She told me that when you’re pregnant you have to look your best, lol. She wants me to stop cutting my long nails, but they are always in my way. Either they are getting stuck in the keyboard or in the way when I’m trying to cook or clean, so I cut them down. She also tries to make me wear rings on my fingers so that I look more dainty. I’m more of a one ring at a time type of person while she’s like a 4+ rings at a time person, she loves her rings.
In the next week or so, I’ll start reviewing some of my favorite maternity finds. I may as well give up on finding a maternity jean because they all run too big. The only brand that I know of that has my size is Seven For All Mankind and Sheena does not have Seven For All Mankind money, new or used! I ordered a SwellyBelly Band to fit over the jeans that still comfortably fit but won’t close. I’m still worshiping my yoga pants, I got quite a few pairs for Christmas.
I’m off to see what I can upload to flickr.

Mommy Daddy Blog: Some Clarification
3 weeks ago I first started noticing Jayden’s movement in my tummy. First it was like a fish being taken home in a plastic bag, subtle. Now he’s just all over the place and many times I find myself saying Ooo! What are you doing in there?. A few days ago I noticed my tummy vibrating with his movements. Pretty soon I’ll be able to see his little arms and legs poking on through. This is so exciting!
The days are going by pretty fast and I feel like I have so much to do with so little time. I want to start nesting NOW, but I have to wait until we move. I’m currently overwhelmed in baby products, there’s just so many of them. Some I know for sure that I want, others are still up for debate. This is another reason why Greg and I will be reviewing products on Mommy Daddy Blog, so that other parents going through the same thing that we’re going through can have an idea of what’s what.
