Contests For My “Baby Stash”
So I feel the need to start collecting for my baby stash for real now (I should probably point out this post to avoid confusion, I am not pregnant, and am sure that I am pretty infertile). Who knows when “it” will happen, but we can never be too prepared. After all, I don’t think the current baby gear will be going out of style any time soon, sooo Drea’s giving away a onesie and baby legs set from My Rockstar Baby. Her little “burger” looks so cute in his sets.
The Pinks & Blues Girls are giving away 2 more DKNY totes, these won’t be filled with goodies, but who cares!?
Facipiers and Stinky Toes is giving away a Marshall diaper bag set from Baby Brown’s. Perfect bag for dad, aye?
I’ll try to update this post with some more contests, keep checking back.

Caesar Loves Lucy’s Dog House!
We have the hardest time buying toys for Caesar. Most of his toys are the plush squeaky type toys. A lot of the times, Greg and I play the little 50 cent crane games to win toys for Caesar. He’s just going to chew them up anyway, why waste money on the ones on display? I’m tired of picking up polyester puffs from off of the floor, but I continue to let him have plush toys.
Lucy’s Dog House has come to the rescue! Caesar just love his Hurley and Orbee-Tuff® SPORT Golf Ball. He’s like a little maniac when playing with them. They are really good interactive toys. While trying to snap pictures of him playing with the toys, he’d fetch them and toss them up into the camera like Mommy is this good enough for the review?. He was really wild with the Hurley, see…

The Hurley is a stick with attitude. It can stand to be tossed, chewed, and abused. I’m not sure how long these things last, but I have a feeling Caesar’s going to have his Hurley for a few years. No matter how much he chews it, the bites never embed into the toy!
The Orbee-Tuff® SPORT Golf Ball is just like the Hurley, heavy duty. At first Caesar wouldn’t play with it because I rolled it, but once I started bouncing it on the floor, he started having a blast with it! When playing with this, Caesar reminds me of a cat because he kinda paws it and chases it as a cat would. Only difference is that he brings it back to me sometimes tossing it back. It’s so cute.
What makes Lucy’s Dog House special? Well, the owner of Lucy’s Dog House rescued a dog named Lucy who is very important to her. She donates a portion of her sales to sponsored rescues. She’s actively looking for rescues to partner with and help with a percentage of her sales. Know of any rescues? Let her know!
Visit Lucy’s Dog House and be sure to sign up for the mailing list!
Discount Codes: Use friend, which is good for 15% off any purchase and rescue which gives 10% to one of the sponsored rescues and 5% off towards your purchase.

Shopping For Bedding
Greg and I are currently looking for new bedding, well I am. Greg doesn’t care what we sleep on. I can decorate the bedroom in all princess Barbie and he could care less
. I’m thinking about shopping online, but the last set we got online was terribly made. I was debating if I should shop around maybe when we go up to Chicago for 2 weeks or just grab a set from my mother. The set I want to take is perfect for me. It’s tropical, the colors are perfect, and the comforter feels like a luxury duvet cover, but it has a tad of a magenta like color in it. Greg doesn’t care so I suppose I’ll save some money and take it. I really love it, it’s just I’m trying to do things 50/50 now to make sure my hounie is happy. My mother’s been begging me to take back some comforters and stuff because she and my aunt are forever changing up their bedrooms. Since we don’t have to spend money on a comforter, we can spend a little more on sheets, pillow cases, definitely pillows because we always get the cheap ones that get flat too quick!

Think the Magenta will risk the manliness of our bed?

Dear Depo, You Suck.
I guess it’s about time that I make the announcement. It’s obvious. There’s baby stuff all over my site. We want to have a baby. Now that my audience is a little different, I can say these things without feeling like I’m talking to a wall or preteens. If you are new here, please read my About page.
I’ve been on Depo Provera for 1 year and 4 months. I’m due to get another shot this month and I’m not going. I made a mistake going on Depo, at the time I wasn’t thinking about having a child in the future. I just wanted a contraceptive, to gain weight, and not have a period. I haven’t gained any weight that people are ranting about and I’ve been bleeding for months. A side effect is to spot but this is getting ridiculous. I read that Depo is more of a drug for those who’ve already given birth. Great. It causes major ovulation problems. When coming off of Depo, it is very hard to conceive. It can take up to a year. The fertility drug Clomid is commonly given to regulate ovulation. I need to find the right doctor to talk to, because the last thing I need is a doctor who’s gonna try to give me counseling instead of what I came there for. I’ve gone to the doctor for other things non-gyn related and somehow the doctors end up in my business telling me to not talk to boys and to stay in my books, wtf am I 10 years old?? There may be girls running around giving it up to every boy/man walking, but I’m not one of them. I’m flattered that you think I am pretty, but I don’t need your talk. So I’ve told you I’ve been involved with only one person, I don’t need you telling me I cannot trust him or that today’s days are our last. That’s nice, just do your damn job. Whenever I do go to the doctor, I’m bringing Greg in there with me to avoid irrelevant talking. He always asks me if he can come in anyway.
Enough of my rant, people just make me so MAD when I’m just trying to go to the doctor for simple things and get stuck getting the troubled teen talk. I haven’t gotten it lately probably because I hit 20. But still, I’m young and older people still think they know everything.
- Some things I can do to flush my system:
- Drink loads of water.
- Eat more fruits & veggies.
- Take colon cleansers (I think I’m pretty clean in this area, lol.) or liver cleansers.
- Take vitamins.
- Exercise (eh, maybe).
3 months down, who knows how many more to go. At any rate, it was Greg’s idea to blog about our “adventure” so in April we registered a domain to do so. I’m not sure when I’ll make it public, probably after visiting the doctor and of course installing wordpress and all that stuff. We’re really excited about the blog because it’s something that we will have for many, many, many years
. I have a friend who I’ve been talking to, she told about charting, I read up on it and it’s kinda icky, lol. It involves a lot of getting to know yourself down there.
Oh yea, next summer we plan on moving closer to home because it’s truly a pain driving 5 hours every time we want to visit. I hate to KEEP moving, but hey. It’s best that we are closer to family and whenever we do have children I want my mother to be close to her Grandbebe’s.
Besides the terrible stories I’ve read about conceiving after depo, what are some stories that you have heard or experienced?
