Handcrafted! Why? Because each design is made from materials that are hand picked by the designer and no piece will be mass produced. If you buy handcrafted jewelry most likely fewer people in your area will own the same earrings, necklace, bracelet, or ring that you do vs shopping at an accessory shop such as Claire’s and bumping into someone wearing the same jewelry that you have on.

My Beloved Earth Spirit Shoes

Call me a crunchy old lady, but I love shoes by Earth Spirit and I demand that you buy a pair! I own the Mulberry, Logan in Lime, and Dakotas. My mother owns about 3 or 4 different pairs than I and if I can get my hands on them, I will, lol. We are always swapping shoes. The Earth Spirit shoes are so unique and best of all, COMFORTABLE! It’s like walking on a cloud when I wear them.

I’ve been having a weird craving for celery sticks with ranch dressing. I even dreamed about eating celery this morning. I don’t even like celery like that .

Runaround, Jewelry, & Enfamil

I’m now waiting on my 4th replacement Paypal debit card. I received my 3rd today and just as I expected, I couldn’t activate it. What was the problem this time? The same. “It’s still stuck in the system as requested”. Whatever the hell that means, I don’t care they need to get on it. Every time I call them, they say the same thing and that’s a common problem right now. The only thing they can do is keep canceling the cards they sent me and send me another one. So of course I was very pissed and asked what if I receive my 4th card and can’t activate it? All I got was a continued apology and “It’s worth a try”. Obviously the past 3 times WEREN’T worth a try. I’m not applying for a Master card and I’m not inputting my SSN to lift my monthly withdrawal limit. I need a working debit card!

On to a positive, I rekindled an old hobby during the last 2 days. 2 days ago I made the nursing necklace, then yesterday when I was without internet, I made the earrings. If I am able to sell the current designs, I’ll start making more. I don’t want to go on a supply spree if I’m not going to have any customers you know? Oh and I got 2 cans on Enfamil Lipil in the mail today, they expire Dec 2008. Who knows what I’ll do with them, but I gladly put them in the cupboard!

Give Me A Break!!!

3:29 PM - I’m currently typing in notepad, as I don’t have internet service. At 1AM the cable cut off and the internet stopped working. I had just paid part of the bill minutes before it happened. I was so upset. Greg and I ended up just talking until we could fall asleep. I called the cable/internet company and there’s been another outage in the area. A fiber line cut or something. The cable now works but the internet doesn’t. Greg’s at work, I don’t have internet, and if I didn’t have cable, I’d have nothing! I’d probably go on a cleaning spree. There’s always a cable/internet or water line problem in the area. They need to get it together. To top it off the complex office called saying that we owe July’s rent. Back in December our rent was prepaid up to the end of the lease and now they are saying that we owe for this month after we just got done scuffling up money for the new place + utilities here. There’s a $10 a day late fee which can be waived if we get the money in asap. I’m going to examine bank statements before I even try to work something out. At any rate it is their fault because I told them to debit the full amount up until the lease and that’s what we agreed to. If it’s not one thing, it’s another! I know things will fall into place, but can I get a break? I’m so tired of living here, I’m tired of our current services. I can’t wait to start over in August!

As you can see the internet just started working again and it’s 9:21PM!

Time To Get Started

The past few days have been scorchers. Upstairs, it has been very hot. I have been forced to turn on the fan, and as I’ve stated in the 8 Things About Me Meme, I HATE plug in fans. The sound annoys me. Our “central” air only blows in the living room, so we moved our bed into the living room. That’s one less thing we have to bring down the stairs when we start moving out.

I’m waiting on my 3rd replacement Paypal debit card. I really need it because I can’t withdraw anymore money into my bank account this month because of the limit. I can raise the limit by adding a Master Card to my account, which I don’t have. Hopefully I will get the debit card soon and it will ACTIVATE this time!

I want to get started with organizing and cleaning. I’m going to order The H2O Steam Mop. I was lured into the infomercial one night and I loved what I saw. It works on any floor surface and it’s not bulky. I can’t wait to order and receive it so I can steam all of the floors to make sure we won’t get cheated out of our security deposit. Right now we’re looking for storage, one of them provides boxes, hopefully they are free, if not Greg can get some from work.

Well that’s all for now. I have a project that I would LOVE to finish before we start moving. It’s a true pain, but hey .
